Linda is available for private art guidance in technique and creativity
Linda Jacobson is an artist and educator. She exhibits her visionary paintings internationally and has lead
innovative seminars on the creative process worldwide for 20 years, and was named ‘Instructor of the
Year’ by UCLA Extension. Her work is informed by her extensive travels and by her life-long study of
Buddhism, Meditation, Jungian psychology, mythology and meso-American shamanic practices.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON: EXPRESSION IN PAINT AND COLOR
Work on your own projects or personalized class assignments in a supportive atmosphere. Classes are
small, intimate and designed for all levels.
When: 4-class series meets once a week, Wednesdays, 1:00am - 4:00pm.
Where: At my studio my enchanted studio surrounded by lovely gardens in Venice, CA.
Free parking.

VENICE ART FORUM
Meets once a month on Tuesday evening.
Venice Art Forum is a critique group and community for artists who share the values of inner exploration as an essential component of their art.
Facilitated by Linda, practicing artists provide support, artistic critique, inspiration, and assistance with entering the world of the professional artist.

OTIS COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN:
Painterly Painting: From Impressionism to Expressionism
Starts September 28th, 10 class series
Explore paint as light, form, gesture, and expression. This course studies the principles and techniques of Impressionism using brush stroke and color as a means to interpret light. Students explore Expressionism using gesture and painterly ways to illustrate people and still life. Also covers techniques used in Abstract Expressionism and automatic painting.
